Everything you need at one location! - West Lancashire Microlight School has been established for over 20 years and is the North West’s leading microlight training facility, offering low cost training and flying the latest generation microlight aircraft.

Microlighting is one of the most popular forms of aviation in the UK due to the ever advancing aircraft capabilities and relatively low running costs. This makes gaining a licence and operating an aircraft much more affordable.

Operating from a private airfield at Ince Blundell, we are in the perfect location for training, being just 2 miles from the coast and having the pleasure of a predominantly smooth westerly wind. 

We have stunning local scenery and are within easy reach of North Wales, the Fylde coastline and the Lake District. 

We offer training, trial flights, ground school, maintenance, PPL hire as well as a number of other services. 

Operating from a private airfield means we spend more time flying and less time waiting for traffic on the ground. It also allows a professional but relaxed training environment.
