The twenty minute voucher gives you a real taster for flying, with some spectacular views thrown in for good measure. Normally a coastal flight with stunning views of the River Mersey and Docks make this experience memorable.

The voucher can be used in either the fixed wing or flex wing aircraft.

One hour experience flight

Being the most popular voucher we sell, the one hour flight allows you to really enjoy the local scenery. The airfield is situated only 2.5 miles inland from the Lancashire coast a mere 3/4 hour flight to the Lake District or 1/2 hour to North Wales.
The coastal location combined with unrestricted views from a microlight make a truly breath taking experience which will certainly leave a lasting impression.
During the flight you may also have the opportunity to take control, if you wish to do so, although this would be down to the discretion of your Instructor on the day.

The voucher can be used in either the fixed wing or flex wing aircraft.

Two hour experience flight

A real treat consisting of a two hour session giving you the chance to get a true appreciation of the freedom and versatility of microlighting. This flight offers a large radius taking in stunning scenery from the Lakes to Wales and has the added bonus (if you wish) of an out landing. Terms and conditions.

The purchase of the voucher forms a contract between you (the holder) and West Lancashire Microlight School (WLMS).

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the issue date. At the discretion of WLMS vouchers may be extended by paying a fee. The voucher is non refundable, but may be transferred to another person. Vouchers must be presented on the day of the flight, lost vouchers cannot be replaced. WLMS reserve the right to refuse to provide a flight on safety grounds, this will be at the sole discretion of the WLMS pilot undertaking the flight and can include but is not limited to age, height, weight and health criteria. Any other criteria may be considered on health and safety grounds.

Once the voucher has been booked, it is the responsibility of the holder to attend at the agreed time and date. At the discretion of WLMS failure to give 48 hours notice of any cancellation will result in the loss of the flight and voucher. It is the holders responsibility to check flying conditions are suitable on the day before travelling to the airfield. If the flight is cancelled due to weather on the day, it will be rebooked for another day within the voucher validity (If the voucher is within the last month of its validity a 1 month free extension will be provided).
